4 holiday trends to try this year

The holidays are literally around the corner so now is the perfect time to plan your holiday looks for the festivities to come. That means it’s time to add on some sparkle, texture and rich colors to your wardrobe. Whether you’re heading to your annual company party, a holiday dinner or a night out, this season is the perfect time to dress to impress.

Red is always in!

During the holiday season we tend to see a lot more red and this year is no different. The type of shade we see varies but this year we are seeing lots of bright red and burgundy as well. Although in the same family of color the shades exude a different look and feel when worn. Bright red tends to be a bit more cheerful while the darker reds add a bit more dramatic flair to your look.

Polka Dots

Like any true fashion trend, polka dot has come and gone and this year we are seeing its return for the holidays. Many designers have embraced this playful print and have created looks in bold ways such as oversized dots, asymmetrical placements and unexpected color pairings. One of our favorites? The deep brown/burgundy polka dot color of course! It doesn’t end with clothing, we are seeing the polka dot print on handbags, headbands and even shoes. Suede

Another trend that  is having its “revival moment” is suede. Suede is a texture that we often see during the colder months of the year because it’s a very winter friendly fabric. From the classic chocolate brown color to shades such as olive green and burgundy, we are seeing everyone embrace this trend their own way. Reasons to try suede this season? It radiates cozy sophistication and luxury that feels both fresh and effortless. Suede delivers the perfect mix of comfort and style.

Lace  

Lastly, lace is a trend we are also seeing (and loving). Whether worn or peeking out from a blouse or skirt for example, lace adds a dreamy, elegant flair that's perfect for the holidays. The lace looks on the runway have also been reimagined with a modern twist, we’ve seen sheer lace dresses, lace-trimmed skirts and romantic blouses that pair beautifully with leather and oversized blazers.
